Sharon Cannava
Sharon Cannava was born in Boston and raised in Suburbia. Sharon was introduced to dance when she was about 10, and has been following its lead ever since. This passion, along with her pursuit of higher education and an affinity for city life, brought Sharon to NYC where she found herself enrolled in New York University. Four years later, she was released into the world, equipped with a well-deserved (and very expensive!) degree in Dance Education, and an all-consuming, new-found appreciation for the art of modern dance. Sharon later studied her craft at the Ailey School and Dance Space Center, and performed the work of talented choreographers including Earl Mosley and Jaclyn Moynahan (JaxDance). She was certified in the authentic Pilates method under the unofficial queen herself, Romana Kryzanowska. She is pleased and honored every chance she is given to share her interest in human movement and physical potential with others.

Kristin Kalchbrenner
Sports and exercise have been a foundation of Kristin’s life. She has always led an athletic lifestyle competing in various sporting events up to the collegiate level - field hockey, softball, diving and running. She has been practicing Pilates for over ten years while working in the television (CNBC) and the corporate financial industry (PaineWebber, UBS, Morgan Stanley).
Over ten years ago, Kristin’s brother, a physical therapist, handed her a photocopy of Joseph Pilates’ mat exercises and said to her “this is the wave of the future”. At that time, she did not realize how Pilates would ultimately change her future.
It was not until Kristin was stricken with Lyme disease that she truly was able to comprehend the power of Pilates. Pilates helped her to work through several challenges of the disease. With that experience, she decided to study Pilates on the side, so that one day she could share with others what Pilates had done for her. She currently works with fibromyalgia, sciatica and herniated disk clients and has witnessed first hand how Pilates has helped to transform their lives.
Kristin received her Mat Certification from Power Pilates in 2005 and continues her education each year with Power Pilates seminars. She also has since completed a 600-hour authentic Pilates certification “Keeping the Method Pure” under the tutelage of Romana Kryzanowska’s direct students (Tracy Fiore being one of them),as well as the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) certification.

Claudia King
Prior to becoming a teacher, Claudia worked in human resources for a hedge fund for many years. It was during her career at the hedge fund when she discovered Pilates.
Claudia had always had an interest in staying healthy in mind, body and spirit and a love for movement. She took many years of dance through her late teens and spent years practicing yoga as well, but it was Pilates that seemed to make the most significant impact. The precision and grace of the work had a real connection for her. So after four years of taking lessons and learning a lot about the method, she decided to go through the training to become a teacher. Claudia is certified by Romana’s Pilates in New York City and is very happy to be working at Fiore Pilates with such a wonderful, supportive group of teachers and great clients.

Jennifer Meegan
Jennifer Meegan was born in Georgia and raised in Florida where she was introduced to dance at an early age. She studied it for several years and attended a performing arts high school to further her knowledge of dance. After high school, she decided to pursue her passion even further by moving to New York and enrolling in SUNY Purchase dance conservatory where she studied ballet and modern dance. She graduated with a BFA in dance performance and it was during this time that she discovered Pilates.
Unfortunately, from all the years of dance she had injured her lower back and had to take some time off. A few years later her back had healed and she remembered Pilates from college and how beneficial it would be for her to start and regain her strength back. It was then, after going to many Pilates classes that she realized that she had found a new passion in her life. Jennifer then decided to become a certified instructor in classical Pilates and share with everyone her love and knowledge of it.
Jennifer returned to SUNY Purchase to attend the United States Pilates Association teacher certification program where she received her certification in the Authentic Pilates Method. She is extremely happy to now be teaching at Fiore Pilates with great clients and inspiring teachers.

Donna Pollack
I am a true city kid, raised and schooled in Manhattan. As a matter of fact, I met my husband, Conrad, when we were both in 8th grade at private school (we did wait till we were older to marry!!!)
I arrived in Harrison about 10 years ago with 2 babies, a jeep and no drivers license (thank you Formula One Driving School!) and in complete confusion about how to survive without a doorman. It took a while, but I have finally found my way around Westchester and discovered all the drycleaners, drug stores and restaurants that deliver!!!!! oh, and by the way, besides the kids we now have 2 dogs, a cat, a tortoise and a recently deceased crawfish (from my son's science class) named Boullabaise.
I spent the 1st 6 years of my fashion career in lingerie (selling it, not wearing it) and followed that up with Sales Manager positions at Swatch Watch, Charles Jourdan Shoes, L.A. Gear, and HUE and Calvin Klein Hosiery. The Fashion Industry back in the 1980's and 90's was exciting - filled with parties and trade shows and travel and I loved it. After my daughter Madison and son Austin were born, however, I decided to devote my time to them instead, a choice I am happy I made.
Some years ago, after various injuries that I attribute to a combination of weight lifting at the gym and kickboxing class, I started taking sessions at a nearby Pilates studio and instantly fell in love. I felt energized both mentally and physically and lost the "baby fat" that had settled on my waist and stomach. It was my original teacher who planted the idea in my head that I should advance myself and learn to teach Pilates and I jumped at the chance. I was fortunate to have been accepted by Romana's Pilates in NYC as she is a direct disciple of Joseph Pilates and teaches the true, original method. The fact that she is 83 and bounces around like a kid further inspired me and I am proud to be of her students.
Although I enjoy teaching in the city, I am ecstatic to have joined Fiore - it is a gem of a studio with fabulous teachers and great clients and only 10 minutes away . . . It is a pleasure to be here as part of the "family"!

Mandy Salva
After ten years of living in New York City, Mandy is very happy to be teaching at Fiore Pilates and settling down in Larchmont. She was born and raised in Maryland and began studying dance at the age of five. She attended high school at the Baltimore School of the Arts and then went to SUNY Purchase where she graduated with a BFA in dance in 1999. While at Purchase, she was first introduced to Pilates, and it was an excellent compliment to her rigorous days of dancing.
Upon graduating, Mandy moved to New York City, where she toured internationally with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. Throughout her career, she dealt with a few injuries which led to her rediscovery of Pilates. She realized it was a great way to keep her entire body strong while healing. She was so excited by all there was to learn and decided to study with the disciples of Joseph Pilates at True Pilates New York.
In addition to Fiore, she has taught Pilates at Ballet Academy East in New York City and continues to dance professionally with the Stephen Petronio Company.

Kathy Wolfe
Kathy Wolfe grew up in Larchmont, attended Mamaroneck High School (not recently) and is delighted to return to her favorite town to teach at Fiore Pilates. After a long career as an arts administrator with a focus on dance, she began to study Pilates and became convinced that the method provides lifelong body conditioning and health benefits.
Kathys experience in the arts included many years as Executive Director of the Dance in Education Fund/Steffi Nossen School followed by work in marketing and development at Purchase College Performing Arts Center and at the Purchase Conservatory of Dance.
For the past several years, Kathy has been teaching Pilates full time in the Westchester area. She received her teaching certification in 1999 under the direction of master teachers Romana Kryzanowska and Bob Liekens.
Kathys greatest claim to fame is that she had the pleasure of teaching Pilates to Tracy Fiore while Tracy was preparing to enter the teacher-training program in New York City.
Needless to say, Tracy was a stellar student!
